Dagtype Films, LLC, is an independent production company based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Its co-owners, Steven P. Neilson and Jon Lance Bacon, find their inspiration in the New Hollywood of the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the Golden Age of the studio system. They will release their first feature film -- a murder mystery called
Foresight -- in 2010.

Jon Lance Bacon has just published "Gory Stories," an essay on Southern fiction and American horror, from Poe to Hollywood to the horror comics of the early 1950s. The essay appears in the book Flannery O'Connor in the Age of Terrorism, now available on Amazon.

Gezell Fleming has been filming the sequel to Mandie and the Secret Tunnel, reprising her role as "Aunt Lou." Mandie is available through Netflix and Blockbuster.

Gezell can currently be seen in Blood Done Sign My Name with another Foresight player, Bonnie Johnson. The film opened earlier this spring.
